I finally persuaded my husband to accompany me to Paris. Although a good eater, he was reluctant to try anything too unfamiliar while there. He discovered croque monsieur (similar to grilled ham and cheese), already knew he liked French onion soup, and was familiar with creme brulee--so there you have it, his daily menu! Of course, he did enjoy a pastry now and then. They're irresistible!
